This page from Wikipedia lists the world's 100 most-wealthy people. What I really found interesting though was that besides their net-worth, it also listed their current corporation or financial investment; basically it gives a little bit of the why, in terms of why they have money. I didn't know the Mars Corporation was so profitable!
